GTC Consulting

Continuing Education as conducted by Great Seminars imparts large amounts of evidence based material that directly impacts clinical care and decision making. It has been recently shown that continuing education is more effective if followed by a one on one intervention by a person proficient with the information. (Cleland, 2009) To that end, Great Seminars offers course participants the opportunity to hire consultants to work directly with their staff therapists. Below are the details.

Consulting services are as follows:

  • Working with therapists regarding direct patient care ( this can entail following a therapist and giving feedback and individual instruction on patient care elements.)
  • Chart review and documentation suggestions
  • Treatment suggestions, outcome measure suggestions
  • Patient and family/care giver education
  • Small group interactive discussion about patient care elements

All consultants will need travel and accommodations paid by the facility. Great Seminars charges a $200 set up fee to coordinate the facility and the consultants. The consultant’s fee depends on the level of the consultant. Fees are as follows:

  • Dr. Carole Lewis- $300/ hour
